Welcome to Nettie's Healthy Living Corner

This site is all about transitioning to a healthier you. I've been a vegeterian/vegan for the past twenty years and an active member of People for the Ethnical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

I became quite concern about health for others a couple of years ago because my significant other of 32 years was diagnosed and ultimately passed away of Kidney Cancer.

Hopefully, you'll find my blog helpful in assisting you with living a more healthier life!

I'd love to hear from you.

  1. The last reason alone is good enough for me Nettie, except that I am still in the pre stage. I am not the health club type, I am more or less a walker. Years ago I heard someone say that they lost their wait by making sure that the walked five miles a day. I started walking on my lunch break and to and from the train everyday and low and behold the weight came off, I should have stuck with it. The good thing is that I can always go back to it. I can say that excercise did a lot for my mental state of being, nothing like oxygen to the brain.
